Affordable FRP Water Softener Tank for Industrial and Residential Water Treatment Systems
FRP Vessels for Water Treatment are corrosion-resistant composite pressure containers manufactured via automated 4-axis filament winding. Based on polyethylene (PE) or fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) liners, they integrate reinforcing fibers (e.g., fiberglass/carbon fiber) with high-performance thermoset resins (epoxy/vinyl ester) to form monolithic structures in a single forming cycle. This advanced process eliminates seams, creating vessels with:
- Extreme corrosion resistance (pH 1-14 compatibility)
- Pressure rating: 0.6-4.0 MPa
- Service life: 20+ years
Structural Components:
- Axial Ports: Molded top/bottom openings with high-density threaded fittings (NPT/BSP) or ANSI/DIN flanges (PN16 rating, DN15-DN500 compatible)
- Cylindrical Shell: 4D-wound composite wall (3-25mm thickness), inner surface smoothness Ra≤0.4μm (FDA/NSF compliant)
- Discharge Outlet: Angled (45°/90°) anti-clog design, flow capacity 5-500m³/h
- Base Assembly:
- FRP Base: Continuous wound construction, compressive strength ≥250MPa
- Reinforced PP Base: 20%-30% glass-fiber reinforced, operating range -30°C to 100°C
